01How does it actually stay cool?
It conducts heat. 02Does it cool the room down?
No, and anything that says otherwise is selling you something. It does not change the temperature of your bedroom. What it changes is how the surface feels against your skin and how dry you stay under it, which is why it is made for hot sleepers and night sweats rather than as a replacement for air conditioning.
03What is it actually made of?
A smooth, fine knit with a light cotton fill, and nothing else in it. You will see blankets like this sold as ice silk. There is no silk in those and there is none in this one either. It is a knit that happens to feel silky, which is a description of the handfeel and not the fiber. The full fiber content is printed on the care label.
04What size is it, and will it fit my bed?
One size, King, measuring 90 by 79 inches. On a King or Cal King it covers the mattress with enough overhang on both sides that it stays put, and on a Queen it simply gives you a generous drop. We would rather do one size properly than four sizes badly.
05How do I wash it?
