We name our sizes by the inches, not by a bed. Four sizes from 47 x 78 in to 78 x 90 in, every one measured flat, so the number on this page is the number you can put a tape measure across when it arrives.
Big enough for two-78 x 90 in across a bed, with room left over.
Warm without the weight-soft fleece that covers you without pinning you down.
Washes at home-fits a standard machine, no trip to the laundromat.

Which size do I need?
Four sizes, named by their measurement: 47 x 78 in, 59 x 78 in, 70 x 78 in and 78 x 90 in, all measured flat. As a guide, a queen mattress is 60 x 80 in and a king is 76 x 80 in, so 78 x 90 in lies across either one with overhang, and 47 x 78 in is a one person blanket for the sofa. Measure your bed before you order. It takes a minute and it is the difference between the right blanket and a return.
Why not just call them Queen and King?
Because a bed name is not a measurement, and in this category that is exactly how people end up disappointed. Plenty of blankets are sold as King and turn up smaller than a queen bed. We would rather give you the two numbers and let you check them against your own bed than borrow a word that sounds bigger than what is in the box.
Is it too hot to sleep under?
It is fleece, so it is warm. That is the whole job. It is warm without much weight, which is not the same thing as being light on a hot night, and if what you want is a blanket for a heatwave then this is the wrong one and we would rather say so now than take the order. From autumn through winter, and in an air conditioned room the rest of the year, it works.
Will it fit in my washing machine?
Yes, including the 78 x 90 in. Machine wash cold on its own, tumble dry on low, and skip the fabric softener, which coats the fibres and flattens the surface you paid for. No ironing. A big blanket that needs a laundromat gets washed twice a year, which is the real reason this matters.
I am 6 ft 3 in and it actually reaches my feet. That has not happened with a blanket before.

We stopped pulling it off each other in the night. That is the whole review, really.

I measured it against the numbers on the page before I even unfolded it properly. They matched.

Sound familiar?
If you have ever ordered a King and unfolded something smaller...
The size name means nothing
It says King on the listing, it arrives, and it does not reach the sides of your bed.
One of you ends up uncovered
Two adults, one blanket, and a slow tug of war that finishes at two in the morning.
Your feet stick out
Most blankets are cut for someone shorter than you, and you find out lying down, not reading a chart.

I bought one for our bed and a second one for the sofa within the month. It is the only blanket in the house nobody argues about.

Questions, answered
Everything you might be wondering
01Which size should I order?
There are four, and each one is named by its own measurement, taken flat: 47 x 78 in, 59 x 78 in, 70 x 78 in and 78 x 90 in. In centimetres that is 120 x 200, 150 x 200, 180 x 200 and 200 x 230. To place them against something you already own, a full mattress is 54 x 75 in, a queen is 60 x 80 in and a king is 76 x 80 in. So 78 x 90 in lies across a queen or a king with overhang on both sides and enough length to cover the feet of someone over six foot. 70 x 78 in suits a queen without much drop. 59 x 78 in is a generous single or a two person sofa blanket, and 47 x 78 in is one person on the sofa. Measure the bed before you order rather than going by what you called it when you bought it.
02Why do you not use Queen and King as size names?
Because a bed name is not a measurement, and this category is full of blankets sold under a name far bigger than the thing in the box. Someone orders a King, unfolds it, and finds something that does not reach the edge of a queen mattress. We could do the same and it would probably sell more on the first click and come straight back on the second week. So we publish two numbers instead, measured flat, and you check them against your own bed. If a competitor will not tell you their inches, that is usually the answer.
03Does it make you too hot?
It is fleece, so it is warm, and we are not going to dress that up. What it is not is heavy: it covers you and holds warmth without the weight of a quilt or a comforter on top of you, which is what most people mean when they say a blanket is too much. If you are shopping for something to get you through a hot summer night, this is the wrong product and we would rather lose the sale here than have you find out in July. For cold rooms, winter, and air conditioned bedrooms in summer, it does the job.
04Will it fit in a normal washing machine?
Yes, all four sizes, including the largest. Wash it cold on its own rather than with a full load, because a big blanket needs room to move or it comes out with detergent still in it. Tumble dry on low. This matters more than it sounds: a blanket that has to go to a laundromat gets washed once or twice a year, and a blanket you can throw in on a Sunday gets washed the way it should be.
05How do I keep it soft?
Cold wash, low heat in the dryer, and no fabric softener. Softener leaves a film on the fibres of a napped fabric and that film is what turns a soft blanket into a flat one after a few months, so it does the opposite of what the bottle says. No bleach and no ironing. Wash it on its own or with other soft items rather than with towels or anything with a zip, which is what causes pulls in the surface.
06What is it actually made of?
Fleece is the name of the construction, not of the fibre: it describes a knitted fabric with a raised, brushed surface. This one is finished with a fine rib running through it rather than a flat face, which is why the surface catches the light the way it does in the photos. The exact fibre content, along with the country of origin, is printed on the care label sewn into the blanket. We mention it because half the listings in this category use the word fleece as though it answered the question, and it does not.
07How does shipping and the guarantee work?
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days, and standard delivery then takes 5 to 10 business days, so most orders arrive within 6 to 13 business days in total. Standard shipping is free, and you will get a confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way. Every order is also covered by our 100-day guarantee, counted from the day it arrives: sleep on it, use it, live with it. 08What if it is not for me?
Try it risk-free. Put it on the bed for a couple of weeks, put it through a wash, and see where it lands. If it is not the one, just reach out and we are happy to help and make it right. One-time purchase, no subscription and no surprise charges.

Home textile for adult use. Fleece is a warm napped fabric: it holds heat rather than releasing it. All sizes are measured flat before washing. Fibre content and country of origin are printed on the care label sewn into the blanket. Individual experiences may vary.
